Mudras: Healing Postures of Hands

starts Wednesday 01 april 2020 at 10:00

This 90-minute program is taught in English.

Mudra means to seal or lock in. Mudras which involve the intertwining of fingers generate and seal in energy. When sealed, energy is focused and unlimited in power. Accessing our unlimited inner power through the right application of Mudra can be learned. Mudras – simple to complex – facilitate healing and meditation and are highly transformative given their effects on the body, mind and consciousness.

Mudras can flow into one another or be sustained to direct the flow of prana for health, concentration and deeper spiritual awareness. Mudras are used by practitioners of Tantra, Bhakti Yoga and Buddhism. We will explore the science and art of Mudras in this 90-minute stream along with a few Mantras associated with the Mudras.
