Asthanga Mysore-style
The more that a student becomes familiar with the Ashtanga sequence, the more freedom the student has to develop a personal practice best suited to his or her own rhythms and capabilities. In a Mysore-style class, one does one's personal practice in one's own rhythm, and the teacher, free from maintaining the rhythm required in a led-class, can come by to provide precise adjustments in the positions and personal one-to-one instruction.
The student can develop a strong relationship to the physical posture, a deep attention to the continuous breathing within the practice and experience the subsequent tranquility of the mind.
In a Mysore-style class, students are of all different levels, beginners to advanced, and therefore may also practice over a longer or shorter period with a faster or slower rhythm. All levels are welcome as it is not a led-class in a set pace. The teacher will be able to assist all students in their practice.
The Mysore-style practice is a very rewarding experience as one develops a personal practice.

Just a word to say how much we both loved the Mysore-style class yesterday. It was really a super moment, and we hope that you will soon have the opportunity to schedule another. - K.D. & J.K. 9/28/2014
