Introduction to Hormone Yoga for Women (2 hr)

Hormone Yoga uses powerful abdominal breathing and internal muscle contractions to activate vital energy which, after each posture, is directed to the ovary, thyroid, or pituitary glands by use of breath, concentration and visualization. The hormones of these endocrine glands are very important for balance, strength, health, youth and beauty.
Denise learned this dynamic and yet very relaxing and rejuvenating practice in 2008 under Dinah Rodrigues, creator of this method and then became Dinah's translator and assistant for many of her teacher trainings in Germany.
Denise has made it her main yoga practice for the last 3 years. It keeps her in great physical and mental shape, each time energizing her being. You too will love it. It is simple, easy to learn, and to practice on a daily basis or a few times a week to obtain really good and quick positive results. Denise will also continue her current weekly Hormone Yoga course in Spring in the city.
Please have a cushion for certain practices.
As with any yoga practice, there are certain conditions to be aware of in order to maximize the benefit and avoid doing harm. Variations in both the postures and breathing exercises are always possible.
If you have any of the following conditions, please write an email to email@example.com or call 33 34 19 to determine whether the class is suitable for you or if you should practice certain variations:
Pregnancy, hysterectomy, hormone- or non-hormone dependent breast cancer, other surgeries, myoma, endometriosis, a heart condition, hypertension, osteoporosis, disc herniations, hyperthyroidism, other medical conditions.
During menstruation, the practice must be light (eventually suspended depending on your condition). Inverted postures must be avoided because they can create endometriosis. The postures can be adapted.

Practice with an empty stomach or several hours after a meal.
