Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga (2 hrs)

This 2-hour program taught in English introduces students to the basics of the primary series of Ashtanga yoga and includes breathing practices and other practices integral to the Ashtanga style.
It is intended for new students and those of other styles who want to start an Ashtanga yoga practice.
Cancellation policy
We refund all cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance less 1 Euro for bank fees. Within 72 hours, we will only refund if the event is full and we are able to take someone in from a waiting list.
Style: Ashtanga Basics
Ashtanga vinyasa is an invigorating approach of yoga postures. The basics course takes you through: ujjayi breath, bandhas (internal energy locks), and drishti (focal placement). You will learn the standard asana sequence with attention to alignment and individualised adaptations when needed. You will gain solid understanding, respect your own body and breath capacity and build sufficient skill to practice confidently. Go to the Ashtanga Basics page.
