Lower back yoga

Lower back yoga strengthens and stretches all muscles that are responsible for a healthy, vital spine in a way that minimizes stress and compression to the lumbar discs. The exercises are done in a slow, steady rhythm so that one develops a heightened awareness of all the sensations within the body. This allows one to experience the deeply relaxing benefits of yoga. Due to the gentle and focused nature of this course, it is also beneficial for those who are currently not involved in any active exercise program but wish to start. More details

Jennifer Schemel-Diehl

Jennifer started Sivananda Yoga in 2007. In 2009, she became certified as a Yoga teacher at the Yoga Vidya Ashram in Bad Meinberg, Germany. She first taught yoga in Berlin. She likes to create an atmosphere of confidence and concentration during class so students can experience deep relaxation, find joy, inner stillness and develop strength and flexibility. Our Walferdange center on rue Josy Welter offers hatha yoga ("Sivananda Yoga"), yoga for lower back issues, hormone yoga for women, a Wednesday morning course for those 50+, and an Ashtanga Mysore course. Its warm, cozy setting provides an intimate and wonderful atmosphere and is the home center where La Source began. See location & map

What to bring:

There is a changing room at this location. Wear comfortable clothing to stretch in. There are yoga mats and cushions here, but feel free to bring your own. Info for your first yoga class.
